Aligning Clips

To align clips on the timeline:

1. Press the Ctrl key and select all clips that you want to align. To select a range of clips, select the first clip in the range, hold down the Shift key and then select the last clip in the range.
2. On the Tools menu, click Align Clips.

Note

The Align Clips option aligns all selected clips to the selected clip with the highest start time on the timeline. The Align Clip also moves non-selected clips that follow the selected clip in the same track. In this case, the Align Clip option moves the non-selected clips by the same amount by which it moves the selected clip.
